James Robert Wheeldon Obituary

In loving memory of James Robert Wheeldon of Lake Charles, Louisiana, who departed this world on November 1, 2025 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Schram Wheeldon; his parents, John Arthur and Rosemary Wheeldon; and his siblings, Martha Elfert and Donald Wheeldon.

He is survived by: his daughter Lori Nunez (Philip); his grandchildren, Robert Nunez and Ashley Verret (Anthony); and his great grandchildren, Gracie Jo Nunez, Gavin and Colt Verret.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home - Lake Charles (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret Catholic Church (2500 Enterprise Blvd, Lake Charles, LA 70601).
