She was predeceased by: her grandson Conner Ladner Mier. She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Lognion (Tricia) and Michelle Lognion Hart; her grandchildren, Macy Mier Fontenot (Cody), Kai Lognion (Olyvia), Bailey Lognion (Abbi) and Alec Lognion; her great grandchildren, Lily, Kohen, Nova, Ezra, Romi Lognion, Kayden, Parker and London Fontenot; and her friend Kathy Comeaux.
A memorial gathering was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
The family has requested donations in Janice's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
