We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2025, at the age of 70, Jerome C. Ringo (Lake Charles, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Ringo and Nellie Huddleston Ringo; his brothers, Johnny and Robert Ringo; and his granddaughter Lillian Eleanor Watson.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Guidry-Ringo; his brothers, Bennie Ringo (Geri), Ronnie Ringo (Gwen) and Wendell Ringo; his children, Earlandra Finnie (Chadwick), Jerome II Ringo (Jennifer Comeaux), Brittany Pete (Navar) and Tayla Phillips (Taylor); and his grandchildren, Jimmie, Sarah Ringo, Hailey, Hannah Pete, Jayda Ringo and Bellamy Phillips. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends.

His written work includes contributions to Diversity and the Future of the U.S. Environmental Movement (2007) and The Green Festival Reader (2008).
