She was predeceased by: her father Noble Leo Tillman, Sr.; her daughter L. Delayne Hendrix; and her sister Lila Louise. She is survived by: her children, Michael L. Jones (Ellen) of West Monroe, LA and Bonnie L. Thorn (Scott) of Lake Charles, LA; her grandchildren, Amber L. Kay (Randy) of Caney, LA, Britten M. Jones of West Monroe, LA, Amy L. Jarrell (Daniel) of Evans, LA, T. J. Finklea (Danna) of Farmerville, LA, Adam L. Finklea of West Monroe, LA and Jonathon J. Kennedy (Lydia) of West Monroe, LA; her son-in-law Scotty Hendrix (Carol) of Caney, LA; and her siblings, Noble L. Tillman Jr. (Lola) of West Monroe, LA and Sande K. Saul (Ken) of Stateline, MS. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
A skilled clothing seamstress, also adept at embroidery and beading, she later applied to beautiful doll making, and donated those dolls for fund raising auctions held by charitable organizations, primarily those dedicated to service men and their families.
