With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan G. Ardoin of Lake Charles, Louisiana, born in Eunice, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on April 20, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Theodore Blanchard and Angela Blanchard; and her brothers, Bobby Guillot, Jimmy, Jerry and Lawrence Blanchard.

She is survived by : her husband Dr. Richard A. Ardoin; her children, Darek (Stacie), Craig Ardoin (Paige Louviere) and Shelly McDonald (Aaron); her grandchildren, Kailyn, Collin, Emily, Allison, Abbie and Alden; and her sisters, Alice Alleman, Sister Mary Pius (Mildred Blanchard), Jeannie Blanchard, Margie Saucier and Joanna Loup. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church (221 Aqua Dr, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
