It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Boyd Torres of Lake Charles, Louisiana, born in Kimberly, Idaho, who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Torres; her parents, William Boyd and Ida Boyd; and her siblings, LaVern Boyd, Art Boyd, Esther Reed, Eunice Smith and Ida Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Torres (Barbara) of Baton Rouge, LA, Linda Reed of Deville, LA, Nelda Torres of Leesville, LA, Darrell Torres of Houston, TX, Danny Torres (Shelly) of Baton Rouge, LA, Donnie Torres (Twana) of Baton Rouge, LA and Kathy Schramm of Dixon, IL. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and very special nieces and nephews.
