He is survived by: his children, Guy Thompson (Tina), Jean Piere Thompson (Ana), Gabreal Francois Thompson (Monica), Regina Guidry Miller (Ross) and Monique Gomes Thompson; his grandchildren, Natalie Thompson Meaux (Bailey), Alaina Thompson, Logan Thompson and Benoit Orosco Thompson; his great grandchild Jensen Meaux; his sister Mary Ann Kohnke; and his sister-in-law Selma Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
