It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kent Eugene Hickenbottom of Lake Charles, Louisiana, born in Broken Bow, Nebraska, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Joseph T Vetter; and his brother-in-law John Vetter. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Allen and Vanetta Joice Hickenbottom (Porter); his wife Lanette Vetter; his daughters, Abbie Jo Hickenbottom and Anna Rae Hickenbottom; his stepchildren, Brandi Weaver and Zachary Weaver; and his parents-in-law, Geneva Vetter, Joanne, Kendal Busch, Kathleen Vetter, Bernie, Miles Doll, Tony, Mary and Janet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
