She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Jason and Lizzie Tate Ambrose; her stepfather Charles Ambrose Sr.; her sister Debra Ann Edwards; and her half-siblings, Gwendolyn Foote, Carlene Jason and Leonard Jason.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Ambrose Jr. (Sharon) and Telissa Goodly; her half-sisters, Brenda Frank, Carolyn Chase (Jerry), Alzena Poole (Donald), Wenny Harvey, Cynthia McClemore and Veronica Jack (Laundry); and her godchildren, Stephanie Druilette, Yolanda Ceasar Launza, Jolie Jones, Nathan Bradley and Albert Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the James Funeral Home (1801 Moeling St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
