He is survived by: his wife Brenda Tripplett Davis; his daughter Gloria Davis Mitchell (Joseph); his siblings, Bernadine Pugh, Ruth Thomas (Dallas), Annie Rose Thomas (Kines), Judy Ann Young (Charles), Cecil Davis Jr., Dewitt Davis (Norma Jean), Tommy Davis (Denise), Bobby Davis (Kayla) and Carlton Davis; his grandchildren, Brient Richard Jr. (Alisha), Briona Richard, Brittney Richard, Byron Richard and Braylin Richard; his great grandchild Ava Lister; his godchildren, Nathaniel Sapp, Richard "Ricky" Sapp, Cecelia Johnson, Melanie Dennis, Trent Davis and Sonya; Brient Richard Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Faith Baptist Church (4211 Opelousas St, Lake Charles, LA 70615). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
