It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Dean Richard of Lake Charles, Louisiana, born in Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Gilman Richard, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Chloe; his mother Brenda Tuley; his stepfather Aaron Tuley; his brother Marcus; his father Dean Richard; his grandparents, Bill, Dorma Kindle, Nancy Richard and Ann Tuley; his great-grandparent Violet Kindle; Samantha Stolp. He is also survived by his family, and by the friends.
After the service a reception will be held at the Fellowship Hall. The family requests donations to an educational fund for Matthew's daughter, Chloe, in lieu of flowers.
