She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Thibodeaux and Josephine Moreaux Thibodeaux; her husband Alvin Donald Burleigh; her son Kevin Joseph Burleigh; and her sister Olive Thibodeaux Comeaux.
She is survived by: her brother Joseph Gaile Comeaux; her son Dexter Alvin Burleigh (Marla); her daughter-in-law Pamela Burleigh; and her grandsons, Marcus Trent Burleigh, Daryn Scott Burleigh, Nicholas Brian Burleigh, Adam Cade Burleigh and Alexander Burleigh.
