He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Daughenbaugh and Elizabeth "Beth" Daughenbaugh; his wife Raye Mona Daughenbaugh; his brother Bob Daughenbaugh; and his cousin Helen Daughenbaugh Vincent.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Daughenbaugh (Sarah), Lisa Daughenbaugh Sonnier (Dwayne) and Leslie Daughenbaugh; his brothers, Bill Daughenbaugh and Glen Daughenbaugh (Kathy); and his friend Christy Trahan. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
