He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Landry and Willie Landry; and his parents-in-law, Elmer Revelle and Mable Revelle. He is survived by: his wife Gaye Revelle Landry; his sisters, Sandy Moore (Nolan) and Marsha Chapman (Ted); his daughters, Laurel Carleton (Mark), Wendy Lechtenberg (Keith), Leslie Bradley (Rex) and Kelly Ortiz (Emilio); and his grandchildren, Camille, Richard Carleton, Madeline Stewart (Vance), Abbie, Callie Lechtenberg, Bella, Julia, Anna and Clara Bradley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (1800 Country Club Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Doc's lifelong commitment to healing and service, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Baptist Church's "Medical Mission Fund"—ensuring that his legacy of bringing hope and healing to those in need will continue long into the future.
