He was predeceased by : his mother Sheila Gaspard (Janet Manuel). He is survived by : his children, Shon David Manuel, Jr. (Beki), Kenneth Whittington (Peggy), Anna Morvant (Mark), Phillip Whittington and Jared Whittington (Tutu); his father Allan Manuel (Diana); his grandchildren, Grace Manuel, Desiree Brooks, Bryan Whittington, Sarah Guidry, Hallie Whittington, Garrett Whittington, Devin Whittington, Kirkland Morvant, Brystin Whittington, Jace Whittington, Khalid Muhammed and Makeda Muhammed; and his sister Sharee Dale (Michael). He is also survived by nephew, two nieces, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
