It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Lee Taveney of Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Taveney and Jeanette Brannen Manuel (Felman); and his son Stephen Berry Taveney (Kathy Douglass Taveney). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Fisher Miguez Taveney; his children, Thomas Dwayne Taveney (Kelli) of Silsbee, TX and Rhonda T Reed (Glenn) of Iowa, LA; his former wife Bonnie Stanton Marcantel; his grandchildren, Sarah, Joshua, Tristin, Jasmine, Rebecca, Dustin, Tyler and Alexis; his sister Jeannie Smith (Mike); his nephew James David Miguez (Sean); and his great-nephew David Sean Miguez. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
