He was predeceased by: his parents, George McCain and Mima Hebert McCain; his siblings, Georgia "Berniece" Greathouse and Curtis McCain; and his children, Maureen Kay Augustine and Carl George McCain.
He is survived by: his wife Jolene Sandifer McCain of Hecker, LA; his children, Lex McCain (Jana) of Springhill, LA, Curt McCain (Becky) of Sulphur, Wade McCain (Marlene) of College Station, TX, Candace Stutzman (Thomas) of Huntsville, AL and Kerri Schwerdtfeger (Kyle) of Stratford, OK; his son-in-law Kevin Augustine of Sulphur, LA; and his sister Betty Sheridan of Lake Charles. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
