He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl White; his parents, William White and Emily White; and his sister Patricia White. He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Young (Tracy) and Melinda Szumanski (Timothy); his grandsons, Taylor Young (Calen), Payton Young (Brooke), David Young, Dylan Szumanski, Colyn Szumanski and Ethan Szumanski; his great grandchild Kinsley Young; and his brother Glen White (Tammy). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home (3001 Ryan St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
