He was predeceased by: his parents, Aline Berzas and Sandes Fontenot. He is survived by: his wife Linda Fontenot; his children, Huward Paul Fontenot (Sharon), Steven Fontenot (Chanda), Michael Fontenot (Linda) and Anthony Fontenot (Tracy); his grandchildren, Paul Fontenot (Colleen), Christina Watson (Steven), Bradley Fontenot, Steven Fontenot, Jr. (Maria), Gregory Fontenot, Juston Fontenot (Ashley), Christopher Fontenot (Kady), Paige Muir (Nate), Austin Fontenot (Shea) and Anna Collins (Christian); his great grandchildren, Lucas, Elena, Brooklyn, Lincoln, Ethan, Grayson, Elijah, Grahm, Blake, Adalynn, Hunter, Chandler, Caysen, Cora, Christian Jr. and Oaklynn Faye; and his sister Gwen Fontenot.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lord Catholic Church (1900 Greenwood Dr, Laplace, LA 70068). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
