He was predeceased by : his parents, Irby Gaubert Sr. and Aline Lorio Gaubert; his stepparent Anabelle Gaubert; and his siblings, Randall Gaubert and Karen Gaubert.

He is survived by : his sibling Donnie Gaubert; his sisters-in-law, Dawn Gaubert and Claudia Landry; his nephews, Darren, Derrick, Ricky and EJ Gaubert; and his caregiver Mary Brown.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (529 W 5th St, Laplace, LA 70068). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
