She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucas Rouse and Laura Rouse; her siblings, Lasil Rouse, Margaret Henriquez, Naida Lester, Shirley Sadasey and Edwin Tweed; and her grandsons, Donté Snyder and Dario Gomez.
She is survived by: her husband Oscar Gomez; her daughters, Indra and Kishana Gomez; her grandson Larry "Trai" Snyder; her great grandchildren, Carson and Cameron Gomez; her brothers, Ronald "Chester" Rouse (Evette), Vincent Francis and Andrew "Andy" Rouse; and her sister-in-law Lynette "Lynn" Rouse. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Beacon Light Church of Laplace (625 Woodland Dr, Laplace, LA 70068).
