Palmer L. Gil Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Palmer L. Gil of Laplace, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra LeBlanc Gil; his son Antonio "Tony" Gil (Madeline "Madie"); his parents, Victor Gil and Martha Carson Gil; and his siblings, Rudy "Mac" Gil, Gloria Oubre, Leslie "Sax" Gil and Russell Gil.
He is survived by: his children, Angela G. Patorno (Michael) and Ricardo "Ricky" Gil (Sean); his grandchildren, Megan E. Patorno (James Terrell), Paul M. Patorno, Brandy Gil, Brittany Gil, Angelina Gil and Natalie Gil; and his siblings, Barbara Lefevre (Eddie) and Richard "Butch" Gil (Beverly). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
