He was predeceased by: his spouse Bobbie Jean Toole; his child Thomas L. Toole; his parents, Lee L. Toole and Lena L. Toole; and his siblings, Edward Toole, Franklin Toole, Ralph Toole, Carroll Toole and Catherine Lane.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie T. Cassard (Dennis); his granddaughter Holly C. Schultz (Kenneth); his stepgrandson Joshua Lawrence; his great grandchild Gavin Alexander Thomas Schultz; and his daughter-in-law Karen F. Toole. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
