He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Roberds Bertrand; his daughter Selena Holder (Kirk); his parents, Lenis Bertrand and Ophelia Landry Bertrand; and his siblings, Carl Bertrand (Bonnie) and Betty Sullivan (late Harry).
He is survived by: his son Brian Bertrand (Mary); his grandchildren, Amanda Bertrand, Andrea Bertrand, Dylan Labat (Elise), Reagan Labat and Elizabeth Labat; and his great grandchildren, Fletcher Labat, Wyatt Labat and Magnolia Labat. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Millet-Guidry Funeral Home (2806 W Airline Hwy, Laplace, LA 70068). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM.
