With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert J. Danos of Larose, Louisiana, who passed away on February 28, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Sr. Danos and Mae Bellanger Danos; and his siblings, Harry, Clifton, Earnest, Patrick Jr. Danos, Mary Lou Danos, Agnes Danos, Mildred Soudelier and Theresa Robichaux.
He is survived by: his wife Pam C. Danos; his children, Harry J. Danos (Claudia), René P. Danos (Crystal) and Madeline D. Louque (Richard Jr.); his grandchildren, Amber, Jamie, Chelsea, Jessica, Reba and Julia; and his siblings, Forest Danos, Mary Jane Kraemer and Rita Gisclair. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
