He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis "Phil" Naquin; his son William Naquin; his granddaughter Katrina N. Chiquito; his parents, Nelson Naquin and Scholastique Naquin; and his siblings, Felicie Williams, Semonia LaFleur, Frank Naquin, Rose Marie Gaspard and Wilbert Naquin.
He is survived by: his children, Russell Naquin, Jr. (Kay), Hillary Naquin (Mabeline), Wayne Naquin, Sr. and Alice Humbarger; his stepdaughter Joanette Jolin (Duane); and his siblings, Harry Naquin and Jesty Naquin. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Golden Meadow (187 Oakridge Dr, Golden Meadow, LA 70357). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
