He was predeceased by : his parents, Bruce A. Evans, Sr. and Sue M. Deville Evans of Lecompte; his grandparents, Boyd and Dorothy Evans; his uncle Boyd "Zuzz" Evans; and his grandparents, George Milburn Deville and Ethel Verlin Walker.

He is survived by : his wife Misty Bailey Evans of Lecompte; his children, Selina S. Fielders, Leslie of Lecompte, Linzey N. Evans of Lecompte and Andrew B. Evans of Lecompte; his granddaughter Anabell J. Alcaraz; his pets, Jasper and Luna; his siblings, Kimberly A. Frankell of Lecompte and Bruce A. Evans of Washington; and his nieces, Jorden, Lindsay and Izabella.

“I just found out from Greg about Andy’s accident. Andy worked on several things for me over the years and we found out we were distantly related. His grandmother Verlin was a first cousin to my mother Marilla. He was a very good man and I am so saddened by the news. He will be missed. I will keep the family in my prayers.”
