He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Odis Jones, Sr. and Cora Roge'Jones; his brothers, Roy Jones and Ollie Odis Jones, Jr.; his sons, Alan Jones and Patrick Jones; his grandson Jeremy Laird; and his sons-in-law, Wiliam Bradley and Layne Villard.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Lee Jones; his children, Dale Jones (Ann), Georgette Bradley, Emily Tassin (Chris), Alice Andrews (John), Maxie Ellis (Krista), Claire Libby and Christine Poole (Darrell); his great grandchild Kenneth; and his sibling's children, Elise Poplus (Raymond), Gianna Cothren (William), Buck Jones (Jane Ellen) and Clint Jones.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the John Kramer & Son Funeral Home (2905 Masonic Dr, Alexandria, LA 71301). A rosary was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kramer Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
