She is survived by: her son Bennie Fowlkes (Vera); and her grandchildren, Carl Gassoway (Bridget), Eric Gassoway, Derrick Gassoway, Sharon Givens and Latosha LaShay Fowlkes. She is also survived by many great- grandchildren, and many other family members.
