He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Lee Westmoreland and Jennie Eola McCutcheon Westmoreland; and his siblings, Glenda Holloway and Ken Westmoreland. He is survived by: his wife Alice Marie Haynes; his children, Kade Westmoreland (Nicole) and Cody Westmoreland (Margaret); his grandchildren, Lauren, Sarah and Finley; his niece Jennie Allen (Scott); and his nephew Clay Holloway (Jamie).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bruce's memory to First Baptist Church of Leesville.
