He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Owen Hood and Johnnie L. Davis Herrin; and his siblings, Robert Hood and Barbara Hood Herrington. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hood of Leesville; his sons, Jason Hood of Leesville, Michael Hood of Leesville, Darrell "Ian" Hood of Leesville and Catlin Hood (Haley) of Leesville; his grandchildren, Michael, Alexis, Mason, Huxson and Coleson Hood; and his brothers, Michael Hood (Charlotte) of Leesville and Milton Hood (Sherry) of Texarkana, TX. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
