It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Rae Bennett (Leesville, Louisiana), who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Bennett and Virginia Gordy Bennett; her grandparents, Frank, Camille Nelson Gordy, William Henry Bennett and Amy Jackson Bennett; her aunts and uncles, Marjorie Gordy Price, Jesse F. "Sonny" Price, Douglas and Martha Gordy; and her brother-in-law James R. "Jim" Mitchell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Michelle Price Mitchell and Frank Allen Price (Pam); her aunts, Carolyn Beebee (Barry) and Linda Powell (Herbert); her nephew Mason Basco (Patricia); her niece Amanda Basco Wellman; her close friends, Jenny Poe, Rose Bruce and Cathy Broussard; and her baby girls, Lilly, RayLynn, Madelyn Wellman and Craig Wainwright. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
