She was predeceased by: her husband Charles J. Maxie; her parents, Annie Ruth Dais and Henry Christopher Smith; and her brother John Harris. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Allen Smith (Deshone) of Baton Rouge, LA, LaShunda M. Smith (Charles) of New Llano, LA and Crystal L. Smith (Michael) of Fort Worth, TX; and her sister Lillie Allen of New Llano, LA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
