He was predeceased by: his parents, Avonell Evans and Roel Evans; and his brothers, Floyd and Joel Evans. He is survived by: his wife Karen Evans of Burr Ferry, LA; his sons, Cory Evans (Victoria) of DeRidder, LA and Derek Evans (Alisha) of Burr Ferry, LA; his sisters, Kathy Parker (Curtis), Joyce Davis (Bryan), Tish Hanks (Eddie), Carman Thornton (Dexton) and Kendra Johnson (Brent); his sister-in-law Lisa Evans; his grandchildren, Shylee Evans, Kaylynn Evans, Sierra Evans, Haidyn Evans, Easton Evans and River Evans; and his great grandchildren, Aubree, Mayson, Adlee, Oscar, Braxton, Waylon, DeAndre, Nyla, Bellamy, Julice and Stoney-Rose. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church (23606 LA-8, Leesville, LA 71446). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
