With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerhard Cauthen of Leesville, Louisiana, who passed away on July 28, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Winifred Cauthen and Francisca Cauthen; his wife Mary Beth Cauthen of Leesville; his former wife Linda Mae Cauthen; his son-in-law Bruce Harbin; his brother Kurt Ingrel; and his grandparents, Eva Pusl and Lorenz Pusl.
He is survived by: his close friend Lucky; his children, Richard Cauthen of Leesville, Keith Carruth (Darlene) of Springfield, Robert Allen (Darnell) of Mississippi, Debbie McDonald of Lake Charles and Deanna Cooley of Rosepine; his sisters, Diana Cauthen and Heidi Bader; and his grandchildren, Landon Spikes, Corey Spikes, Staci Spikes, A. J. Cooley (Dominique Cooley), Ashlyn Rider (Dustin), Linda Grace Cooley (Jake Langley) and Marli Cauthen. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
