He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Dowden of Rosepine, John Dowden (Angela) of Leesville, Lori Denice Johnson (Robert) of Leesville, Donna Dowden of Leesville, Melinda James of Leesville and Kerri Moore (Johnathan) of Leesville; and his siblings, Jimmy Lamar Dowden of Leesville and Mildred Bingaman of Leesville.
