She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Plummer and Daisy Plummer; her husband Patrick H. Cavanaugh; her daughter Caron Haymon; her siblings, Carruth Pruitt (Mark Pruitt), Buster Plummer and Palmer Plummer; and her great grandchild Zachery Haymon.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Jutze (Roy), Janell Brown (Wesley) and Michael Cavanaugh (Marchelle); and her grandchildren, Celice Jutze Turner, Brittany Jutze, Angela Scott Colding, Heather Scott LeBlanc, Rachel Scott, Trey Scott, April Haymon, Carrie Haymon Gann, Colten Cavanaugh and Ethen Cavanaugh.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Castor Baptist Church Cemetery (2057 Slagle Rd, Leesville, LA 71446).
