He is survived by: his brothers, Basil Ashby, Reggie Strain, Larry Laurent and Gary Kay (Vietnam); his significant other Judith Martin of Leesville; his daughters, Lisa Ashby of Houston, Brandy Lott of Houston and Kimberly Wallis of Leesville; his siblings, Brenda Boone (Tommy) of Taylors Cove, TX, Debbie Phillips (William Reid) of Hornbeck, Truly Bozeman (Janie) of Pleasant Hill, Barbara Jacobs (Cecil) of Pleasant Hill and Linda Lievsay (James) of Baytown, TX.; and his pet Badger.
