He is survived by: his wife Donna Carson of Leesville; his daughters, Dixie Carson of Leesville and Brittany Stomps (Jason) of Anacoco, LA; his grandson Jason Anthony Stomps; and his parents, Joseph Alexander Carson and Joyce Marie Ladner Carson.
