She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Cedars and Hazel Cedars; her significant other C. E. "Dinks" Lawrence III; and her brother Kelvin Cedars. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn (Mark Mawae) and Ely; her granddaughters, Finley, Corrie and Keely; and her siblings, Sue Hendricks (Neal), Ann Ferguson (Tom), Connie Cedars and Danny Cedars (Wendy). She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home (601 S 4th St, Leesville, LA 71446). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Leesville (1400 Nolan Trace, Leesville, LA 71446).
