With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann Szuszka of Leesville, Louisiana, who passed away on July 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stella Zielinski and Chester Zielinski. She is survived by: her son Michael; her friends, Charlotte McAfee and Brenda Tucker; her close friend Pam Simmons; her sons, Gary Allan Szuszka of Hammond, LA and Michale John Szuszka of Leesville; and her sister Carol Culver (John) of Wisconsin.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jeane's Funeral Service (100 E Union St, Leesville, LA 71446). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
