Though Joseph Daward may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Doward Crooks and Lucy Roberts Crooks; his in-laws, Oscar and Lois Robinson; his nephew Ken Deville; and his close friend David Arnold.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Robinson Crooks of Hineston, LA.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Simpson Baptist Church (4795 LA-8, Leesville, LA 71446). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
