She was predeceased by: her mother Alice LaVerne Brown Lam; her husband Ellis McDonald; and her brothers, Roy Lam and Emery Lam. She is survived by: her father Edwin Ralph; her sons, Kevin Rains (Cassie) of Anacoco, LA, Brian Rains of Many, LA and Rodney Rains (Bryana) of Hornbeck, LA; her stepdaughters, Valerie Phillips of DeQuincy and Julia; her grandchildren, Zachery, Kaiden, Ryleigh, Braxton, Alaina, Rhett, Shelby and Dillon; and her siblings, Anita Lam, William Lam and Edwin Lam. She is also survived by her family, friends.
