He was predeceased by: his wife Janice T. Leggins; and his parents, Edgar James Leggins and Ida Beulah Spencer. He is survived by: his children, Marvis Leggins (Terri) and Lesha Leggins; his siblings, Ron Leggins and Karanena Sherman; and his stepfather Johnny Terry. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
