Lorene W. Manning Obituary
The memory of Lorene W. Manning of Leesville, Louisiana, who passed away on December 3, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Griffin and Esther Potter West; her husband Murphy Manning; her siblings, J. W. West, Ernestine Flenniken, Myrtle Ross and Novella Sanders; and her grandson Chad.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Diana Prewitt (Benjamin) of Hornbeck, LA., Vicki Lynn Martin (Ronnie) of Hornbeck, LA. and Connie Deavers of Hornbeck, LA.; her sister Johnnie Weldon; and her grandchildren, Duane (Mitzi), Karen (Don), Scotty, Toddy (Julie), Ron (Brandy) and Willis. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Et Labby Memorial Funeral Home (601 S 4th St, Leesville, LA 71446). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Et Oak Grove Cemetery (117 Erwin Rd, Hornbeck, LA 71439).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude's in her honor, continuing her legacy of caring for others.
