He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Owers and Mable Vitamae Trotti Owers; and his siblings, Howard Gerome Owers and Elizabeth Ann Ross. He is survived by: his children, Louis Ray Owers Jr. of Conroe, TX, Chris Owers of Conroe, TX and Lisa Mathis (Teddy) of Conroe; his stepdaughter Julie Lutz of Conroe; and his sisters, Linda Fiddie of Leesville, Sue Johnson of Hornbeck and Karen White (John) of Illinois. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
