She was predeceased by: her parents, Stancil LaFate Cleveland and Joy Lou Cleveland. She is survived by: her sisters, Tammy Cleveland Littleton (Larry), Sherry Cleveland Cryer (Bill Dennis), Mary Cleveland Thomas (Eddie), Vickie Cleveland Sketoe (Fred) and Stacie Cleveland Craft (Darron); her nieces and nephews, Larryn Littleton Bradford, Dakota Cryer, Gett Thomas (Leslie), Sami Thomas, Tanner Craft, Raelee Joy Craft and Vivian Rose Sketoe; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Shelbee Bradford, Tyler Cryer, Brooklyn Cryer, Hadley Cryer, Triton Cryer and Kori Nolen.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Rita's name to the Joy Cleveland Memorial Scholarship Fund at any location of Merchants and Farmers Bank.
