He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernie Midkiff and Avis Fee Midkiff; his mother-in-law Mickie Willis Perkins; his granddaughter Shelbie Brown; his brother Vernie Clyde Midkiff; his brothers-in-law, Bill Kennedy, Pete Smith and Wayne Cryer; his nephews, Buster Cryer and Kelton Smith; his wife Patty; his children, Ginger Brown (Rodney), Roger "Scooter" Midkiff (Courtney) and Destani Thompson (Todd); his grandchildren, Shawnee Brown, Kaylon Brown (Rachel), Hunter (Madelyn), Keith, Cadence Midkiff, Mason, Harmonie Thompson, Waylon, Weslinn and Adalinn; his sister Carolyn Kennedy; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Midkiff, Bonnie Maines (Kenny), Sharon Cryer, Cindy Teasley (James), LeeAnn Richmond (Arthur) and Cheryl Fletcher (Robin). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
