It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Faye Morrison in Leesville, Louisiana, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Dudley Morrison; her parents, Richard Lyons and Johnnie Lyons; her brother D. G. Lyons; and her grandson Eric McNeely.
She is survived by : her children, Lynn Jackson (Jenny) of Leesville, LA and Ginger Brookshire (Jim) of Tallahassee, FL; her stepsons, Bill Morrison (Debbie) of Pineville, LA and David Morrison of Elmer, LA; her grandchildren, Ricky Jackson (Tamara), Steven Jackson (Leigha), Jarrett Brookshire (Vanessa) and Charlotte Berryman (Bradley); her stepgrandchildren, Mathew and Catherine; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Natalie, Landry, Hadley and Jaxton.
