He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smart and Claudia Smart; and his brothers, Dale Smart and Roger Smart. He is survived by: his wife Becky Smart; and his children, Corey Smart, Chris Foster and Vicki McCrea. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Old Anacoco Baptist Church (2386 E Hawthorne Rd, Leesville, LA 71446). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
